SEEING ME IN THE WORLD

SMITW_logo (2 versions)(skyline)(W).png

The Seeing Me in the World program is an opportunity for UU youth to meet across congregations, and to learn and reflect on the history of segregation and race in Greater Boston - and bring reflections back to their own communities. Youth from 8th through 12th grades are invited to join us at the UU Urban Ministry for ahistorical walking tour, circle discussion, and artistic expression.

There are two upcoming opportunities for ministers, directors of religious education, and youth program staff to meet with Rev. Together, they will share information about the program and answer questions.

The info sessions will be held via Zoom and the info is below:

  1. Sun. Feb. 25th (12:30-1:30pm): https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83259827784

  2. Wed. Feb. 28th (6:00-7:00pm): https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82522705110

There are three planned dates for the actual Seeing Me in the World program scheduled for this spring (March 24th, April 21st and May 19th) when young people from your congregation can join us for one of these meaningful days in Roxbury.
