Built adjacent to the historic Meetinghouse in 1876, Putnam Chapel as another space on the Urban Ministry's campus that plays host to numerous - and varied events.  From Community Suppers to art exhibits, and civic speaking engagements to neighborhood parties, Putnam Chapel is a versatile place where we gather often.

Like the Meetinghouse at First Church in Roxbury, the exterior of Putnam Chapel is an example of Federal-style civic architecture, a style that was popular in nineteenth century New England.
