Akili Jamal Haynes has taught at Hartt School of Music African-American Studies Department and Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT). He has held the position of Roxbury Tenants of Harvard Music Chair, and instructed at Seaport Campus for Children, August Scholars, and the Community Music Center of Boston.
