Summer or not, what's better than ice cream?! Join UUUM staff, friends and neighbors for an Ice Cream Social, hosted by the students of Roxbury Youth Programs (RYP). Â
Come for the ice cream, and stay for the final presentations from the students in RYP's summer program. Â From 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., RYP students will be presenting TED Talks based on their personal experience in terms of bullying to raise awareness of the long lasting effects bullying can leave on an individual. Their focus has been on the different forms of bullying that can occur through social media, school, workplace, and home.Â
We hope you will join us at the UU Urban Ministry in Roxbury on August 15th!
